2 Note: Enter commands in lowercase only; mixed case is for readability. statsTest statsTest Runs a statistics counter diagnostic test. Synopsis statstest [-passcnt count][-ports itemlist] Description Use this command to verify the ASIC statistics counter logic. It can run on every base port of the quadrant and send the frame through internal loopback with no CRC data to induce the CRC error. This command is also run from camTest. This test covers the following statistics counter functionality: • The number of received frames with CRC errors that matched the SID-DID pair specified in the LINK table. There are 16 of these statistics counters (0-15). • The number of received words in frames that matched the SID-DID pair specified in the LINK table. There are 16 of these statistics counters (0-15). • The number of transmitted words in frames that matched the SID-DID pair specified in the LINK table. There are 16 of these statistics counters (0-15). • The number of frames with CRC error that matched the corresponding ALI (0-127), respectively. This command cannot be executed on an operational switch. You must first disable the switch using the switchDisable command. Note There is a link table that stores 16 pairs of SID-DID address. Each of the SID-DID pairs is named a link. This table is used for gathering statistics that match the link. This command is supported only on SilkWorm 3250, 3850, 3900,and 24000 platforms; use miniCycle or portLoopbackTest instead. Note The execution of this command is subject to Admin Domain restrictions that may be in place. Operands Examples This command has the following operands: -passcnt count Specify the number of times to perform this test. The default value is 1. This operand is optional. -ports itemlist Specify a list of user ports to run the test. If omitted, all the user ports in the switch are assumed. Refer to itemList for more information about selecting ports. This operand is optional.
