The supported security levels are no authentication, authentication, and privacy. You specify the SNMP security model and level when you configure SNMP groups and users. Each security model corresponds to an SNMP version that provides different security levels: • SNMPv1 provides no user authentication or privacy protection (encryption). SNMP messages are sent in plain text. • SNMPv2c provides no user authentication or encryption.
