NOTE: Before configuring any routing protocol in a VRF instance, you need to first assign an IP address to at least one of the interfaces assigned to the VRF instance on which you want to configure routing protocols. Assigning a loopback interface to a non-default VRF instance After creating a non-default VRF instance you can associate a loopback interface to the VRF instance that you created. To assign a loopback interface to a non-default VRF, perform the following steps: 1 Enter the loopback interface that you want to assign to a non-default VRF instance. CONFIGURATION interface loopback 5 2 Assign the interface to a non-default VRF.
