(Default: None) LLBe sure to verify the access point setting, because the terminals and access points cannot communicate using different encryption. About the encryption types •• None No data is encrypted. LLThis option can be selected when [Authentication] (8) is set to "Open System" or "Open System/Shared Key." ••WEP RC4 It is an encryption type that can communicate when the encryption keys match. LLYou can set the encryption key length to between 64 (40) and 128 (104) bits. LLYou can select this option when [Authentication] (8) is set to "Open System" or "Open System/Shared Key." •• TKIP/AES Either the "TKIP" or "AES" encryptions are automatically recognized when connecting to a wireless access point. LLYou can select this option when [Authentication] (8) is set to "WPA-PSK/ WPA2-PSK." 6-58
