Appendix A - Specifications Liner (b) The backing paper must not extend more than a total of 1.6 mm (0.06 in) outside the labels and should protrude equally on both side. Recommended minimum transparency: 40% (DIN 53147). Media Width Excluding Liner (c) Printer PX4i PX6i Measurement Maximum Minimum Maximum Minimum Value 118.4 mm (4.66 in) 23.8 mm (0.94 in) 168.4 mm (6.63 in) 74.4 mm (2.93 in) Label Length (d) Measurement Value Minimum without LTS 8 mm (0.32 in) Minimum with LTS 12 mm (0.47 in) Maximum 6,143 mm (241 in) Depends on SDRAM size. Note: Under ideal circumstances, a minimum label length of 4 mm (0.16 in) could be used. It requires the sum of the label length (d) and the label gap (e) to be larger than 7 mm (0.28 in), that batch printing is used, and that no pull back of the media is performed. Intermec does not guarantee that such short labels will work, but it is up to users to test this in their unique application. Label Gap (e) Measurement Maximum Recommended Minimum Value 25.0 mm (0.98 in) 3.0 mm (0.12 in) 1.2 mm (0.05 in) The Label Stop Sensor (LSS) must be able to detect the extreme front edges of the labels. 148 PX4i and PX6i High Performance Printer User's Manual
