Attendance messages (continued) Message 84 Color PC Life Warning 84 Black PC Drum Exhausted 84 Color PC Drums Exhausted 84 color PC Abnormal 88 color Toner Low 88 color Toner Empty Action This message alerts you that you can print approximately 100 pages before the Color PC Drums Exhausted message appears. If you do not have new color photoconductors on hand, order them now. See page 89 for more information about ordering new supplies. Note: The cyan, magenta, and yellow photoconductors come packaged together. You cannot order them separately. Press Go to clear the message and continue printing. The Supplies status message is then displayed with the Ready, Power Saver, Busy and Waiting messages-unless another status message of higher priority is posted-until you replace the photoconductor. The black photoconductor has reached the end of its 13,000-page life. You may want to replace the photoconductor now. See page 94 for more information. If the print quality is still acceptable, press Go to clear the message and continue printing. The Supplies status message is then displayed with the Ready, Power Saver, Busy and Waiting messages-unless another status message of higher priority is posted-until you replace the photoconductor. When you replace the black photoconductor, make sure you also install the new fuser coating roll that is included in the black photoconductor kit. The three color photoconductors have reached the end of their 13,000-page life. You may want to replace the photoconductors now. When you do replace them, replace all three-cyan, magenta, and yellow-at the same time. See page 94 for more information. If the print quality is still acceptable, press Go to clear the message and continue printing. The Supplies status message is then displayed with the Ready, Power Saver, Busy and Waiting messages-unless another status message of higher priority is posted-until you replace the photoconductors. You have installed a defective photoconductor. You must replace the specified photoconductor before you can continue printing. The printer has detected that the toner supply in the specified cartridge is low. After printing approximately 250 more pages, the printer will display the 88 color Toner Empty message and cease operating until the toner cartridge is replaced. If you do not have the necessary supplies on hand, order them now. See page 89 for more information about ordering new supplies. Press Go to clear the message. The Supplies status message is then displayed with the Ready, Power Saver, Busy and Waiting messages-unless another status message of higher priority is posted-until you replace the toner cartridge. The 88 color Toner Low message is also displayed each time you turn the printer on and each time you open and close the top cover. The printer has detected that the specified toner cartridge is completely out of toner. You must install a new toner cartridge before you can continue printing.
