Print quality problems (continued) Problem Light lines or streaks appear on the printed page. The page is blank. Action Clean the LEDs. See page 126 for more information. Make sure the affected print unit is completely installed in the printer. Remove the affected print unit and gently shake it back-and-forth to distribute the toner evenly. Reinsert the print unit and try printing the job again. Replace the affected toner cartridge. See page 89. Replace the photoconductors. If the problem only occurs when printing black, you can replace just the black photoconductor. If the problem occurs when printing one of the colors, replace all three of the color photoconductors.
