ENGLISH Mode Appareil photo numérique : FRANÇAIS Digital Still Camera Mode : Basic Image Taking prise de photo simple Recording a Moving Image onto a Memory Card 1 ✤ You can record a moving image using the (Movie) mode. ✤ Before recording a moving image, insert a Memory Card (see page 83). 1. Set the Power switch to (CAMERA). 2. Set the Mode Dial to (Movie). I Recordable time using the Memory Card is displayed. 2 3. Frame your subject, then press the Start/Stop button to start recording. I The Time Counter starts counting and the recording begins. I The Memory Card icon will blink during recording. I Zooming is not available during a moving image recording. Zoom in or out before recording. 4. To pause the recording for a while, press the Start/Stop button. To resume recording, 3 press the Start/Stop button again. [ Notes ] I To use an external microphone, connect a microphone to the MIC jack on the rear of your camcorder. I When recording moving images, LCD screen may display black bars on its bottom, it is normal. Playing back recorded moving image on the unit 3 and PC shows full screen. I It is recommended to use a tripod for moving image recordings with the Remote Control. It is also handy for self recordings. I The recorded moving image is saved in MOV format. To play back a moving image having its extension of REC ".mov", you will need a Q.Time player that can be installed from the DV Media Pro Software CD provided or from the internet sites. See pages 78 and 81 for further details on software installation. I You can use the Remote control for a Moving image recording. Cadrez votre sujet puis appuyez sur le bouton Start/Stop pour démarrer l'enregistrement. I Le compteur démarre, indiquant le début de l'enregistrement. I L'icône de la carte mémoire clignote au cours de l'enregistrement. I La fonction Zoom n'est pas disponible au cours de l'enregistrement d'un film. Zoomez vers l'avant ou vers l'arrière avant de commencer l'enregistrement. 4. Pour faire une pause en cours d'enregistrement, appuyez sur le bouton Start/Stop. Pour reprendre l'enregistrement, appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton Start/Stop. [ Remarques ] I Pour utiliser un microphone externe, connectez-en un à la prise MIC située à l'arrière de votre caméscope. I Lorsque vous enregistrez un film, des barres noires peuvent apparaître au bas de l'écran ACL. Ceci est parfaitement normal. Si vous lisez un film enregistré sur votre ordinateur, celui-ci se met en mode plein écran. 320 I Il est recommandé d'utiliser un trépied si vous enregistrez des films à l'aide de la télécommande. Cette méthode se révèle également très utile pour les enregistrements automatiques. I Le film enregistré est sauvegardé au format MOV. Pour pouvoir lire un film doté d'une extension ".mov", 00:00:05 vous devez posséder l'application Q.Time player pouvant être installée à partir du CD-ROM du logiciel DV Media Pro fourni avec l'appareil ou téléchargée sur Internet. Pour plus de détails sur l'installation du logiciel, reportez-vous aux pages 78 et 81. I Vous pouvez vous servir de votre télécommande pour l'enregistrement d'un film. 105
