ENGLISH The Camcorder : Basic Recording Using Back Light Compensation Mode (BLC) ✤ BLC works only in REC mode. ✤ Back lighting exists when the subject is darker than the background: - The subject is in front of a window. - The person to be recorded is wearing white or shiny clothes and is placed against a bright background; the person's face is too dark to distinguish his/her features. - The subject is outdoors and the background is overcast. - The light sources are too bright. - The subject is against a snowy background. FRANÇAIS Votre caméscope : enregistrement simple Mode Compensation du contre-jour (BLC) ✤ Le mode BLC ne fonctionne qu'en mode REC. ✤ Un contre-jour se produit lorsque le sujet est plus sombre que l'arrière-plan. C'est le cas lorsque : - le sujet se trouve devant une fenêtre ; - la personne à enregistrer porte des vêtements blancs ou brillants et se trouve devant un arrière-plan lumineux, son visage étant trop sombre pour en distinguer les traits ; - le sujet est à l'extérieur et le temps est couvert ; - les sources lumineuses sont trop fortes ; - le sujet se trouve devant un arrière-plan enneigé. 1. Set the Power switch to REC. 2 2. Press the BLC button. I BLC icon ( ) will be displayed. 3. To exit BLC mode, press the BLC button again.
