Email notifications enables the device to display a status bar icon when new emails have been received. Select ringtone assigns an audible ringtone when a new or upcoming event is pending. Vibrate assigns a vibration when a new or upcoming event is pending. Exchange server settings provides access to the Domain, password, and exchange server parameter fields. See Setting Up a Corporate Email for more detailed information. Sync Contacts synchronizes the contacts between your device and the remote exchange server. A checkmark indicates the feature is enabled. See Synchronize Contacts for more detailed information. Sync Calendar synchronizes your exchange calendar entries between your device and the remote exchange server. A checkmark indicates the feature is enabled. See Synchronize an Exchange ActiveSync Calendar for more detailed information. Period to sync Calendar assigns a period for your device to sync calendar events. Add signature activates the email signature feature. Signature allows you to create an outgoing email signature attached to new emails sent from your device. 5. Press to return to the previous screen. Delete an Email Account If you no longer want an email account on your device, you can delete it through the mail settings menu. 1. Press > > > Accounts & sync. 2. Tap an account and tap Remove account. Text Messaging and MMS With Text Messaging (SMS), you can send and receive instant text messages between your wireless device and another messaging-ready phone. Multimedia messages, or MMS, can contain text and pictures, recorded voice, audio or video files, picture slideshows, contact cards (vCard), or appointments (vCalendar).
