Find and Install an Application When you install apps from Android Market and use them on your device, they may require access to your personal information (such as your location, contact data, and more) or access to certain functions or settings of your device. Download and install only apps that you trust. 1. Press and tap > (Market). 2. Browse through the categories (Apps, Games, or Sprint), find an application you're interested in, and tap the name. 3. Read the application descriptions. 4. Tap Install. Important: Use caution with applications which request access to any personal data, functions, or significant amounts of data usage times. 5. If prompted, follow the onscreen instructions to pay for the application. 6. Check the progress of the current download by opening the Notifications panel. After the item is downloaded and installed on your device, the content download icon appears in the notification area of the status bar. 7. On the Android Market screen, press > Open. and tap My apps > (the installed application) Note: You need a Google Checkout account to purchase items on Android Market. See Create a Google Checkout Account to set up a Google Checkout account if you do not have one. 8. The subsequent screen notifies you whether the app will require access to your personal information or access to certain functions or settings of your device. If you agree to the conditions, tap OK to begin downloading and installing the app.  If you selected a paid application, after tapping OK, you're redirected to the Google Checkout screen to pay for the application before it's downloaded to your device. Warning: Read the notification carefully! Be especially cautious with applications that have access to many functions or a significant amount of your data. Once you tap OK on this screen, you are responsible for the results of using this item on your device. Find and Install an Application
When you install apps from Android Market and use them on your device, they may require
access to your personal information (such as your location, contact data, and more) or access
to certain functions or settings of your device. Download and install only apps that you trust.
1. Press
and tap

(Market).

Browse through the categories (Apps, Games, or Sprint), find an application you're
interested in, and tap the name.
3. Read the application descriptions.

Important:

functions, or significant amounts of data usage times.

If prompted, follow the onscreen instructions to pay for the application.

Check the progress of the current download by opening the Notifications panel.
After the item is downloaded and installed on your device, the content download icon appears in
the notification area of the status bar.

On the Android Market screen, press

My apps
> (the installed application)

.
Note:
You need a Google Checkout account to purchase items on Android Market. See Create
a Google Checkout Account to set up a Google Checkout account if you do not have
one.

to begin downloading and installing the app.
