Adobe Illustrator 10 Scripting Guide 489 Deprecated Several features no longer appear in the type library when viewed using a browser such as Visual Basic's Object Browser, but are still available in this release in order to avoid breaking existing user code: • The PageItem property for art items, for example, PathItem.PageItem. • The Remove() method, implemented on all collections which allow the user to remove an item: Layers, PageItems, PathItems, etc. The new Delete() method, implemented directly on the item class (PathItem for example), is now the preferred item removal method. • In Illustrator 9 and 10, item moves were accomplished using four methods implemented on the item class for which move was appropriate (PathItem for example): MoveToBeginning(), MoveToEnd(), MoveBefore(), and MoveAfter(). The new Move() method effectively replaces these. 12 Aug 03
