• The trunk parameter configures an interface to transmit tagged VLAN traffic. You must manually configure VLAN membership for a trunk port with the switchport trunk allowed vlan command. • Use the no switchport command to remove all L2 configuration when you configure an interface in L3 mode. • Use the no switchport mode command to restore a trunk port on an interface to L2 access mode on VLAN 1. Example OS10(conf-if-eth1/1/7)# switchport mode access Supported Releases 10.2.0E or later switchport trunk allowed vlan Configures the tagged VLAN traffic that a L2 trunk interface can carry. An L2 trunk port has no tagged VLAN membership and does not transmit tagged traffic. Syntax unit-provision node/unit-id provision_name Syntax Parameters unit-provision node/unit-id provision_name • node/unit-id - Enter 1 for node with an unassigned unit ID displayed in the show unit-provision output. • provision_name - Enter the service tag of the Fabric Expander displayed in the show discoveredexpanders output. Default Command Mode Usage Information None CONFIGURATION • To verify the currently configured mode on a Fabric Engine, enter the show operating mode command. If a Fabric Engine is in Full Switch mode, you must manually provision a Fabric Expander using the unitprovision command. This command assigns a unit ID to a service tag (provision name). To transmit server traffic, you must configure the virtual port on the Fabric Expander by entering the unit ID as the virtual-slot number in the interface ethernet node/virtual-slot/port command. 132 Interfaces
