Remove paper. 3. Close cover. JAM 05 JAM 05 NOTE The drum area inside the copier is extremely sensitive to dirt and damage. When removing the jammed paper, be sure not to touch the drum area that is located inside the machine with your hands, or with jewelry such as watches and rings, etc. 1 Pull up the left cover 1 handle to open the left cover 1. 3 Raise the duplex unit to remove the misfed paper. 4 Remove the misfed paper in the output section. CAUTION The copier's fixing unit is extremely hot. Take sufficient care when working in this area, as there is a danger of getting burned. 5 Close the left cover 1. 2 Remove the misfed paper. 9-6

cover 1. Remove the misfed paper using the procedure given below.
