Table 2-5. SATA Configuration Screen Option Embedded SATA Port X Model Drive Type Capacity Description Enables (ATA Mode) or disables (Off) all SATA ports. Enables (Auto) or disables (Off) the SATA hard drive in Port X. Displays the drive model of the selected hard drive. Displays the drive type of the selected hard drive. Displays the total capacity of the selected hard drive. Integrated Devices Screen Table 2-6 lists the options and descriptions for the information fields that appear on the Integrated Devices screen. Table 2-6. Integrated Devices Screen Options Option Description Diskette Controller Enables the diskette controller. When set to Auto (the default), each channel of the diskette controller is enabled if IDE devices are attached to the channel and the external diskette controller is not detected. User Accessible USB Ports Enables or disables the user accessible USB ports. Options (All Ports On default) are All Ports On, Only Back Ports On, or All Ports Off. Embedded Gb NIC (Enabled with PXE default) Enables or disables the system's integrated NIC. Options are Enabled with PXE, Enabled without PXE, and Disabled. PXE support allows the system to boot from the network. Changes take effect after the system reboots. MAC Address Displays the MAC address for the integrated 10/100/1000 NIC. This field does not have user-selectable settings. Serial Port 1 (COM1 default) Sets the serial port to OFF or COM1. If Console Redirection is Enabled, Serial Port 1 is automatically set to COM1, which becomes locked to ensure the console redirection function.
