Ozone-depleting chemicals Ozone-depleting chemicals, such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), have been eliminated from HP manufacturing processes. Power consumption Power usage drops significantly while in PowerSave mode, which saves natural resources and saves money without affecting the high performance of this product. This product qualifies for ENERGY STAR®, which is a voluntary program to encourage the development of energy-efficient office products. ENERGY STAR® is a U.S. registered service mark owned by the U.S. government.
