Basic Terminal Connections Creating a Basic 1 In the Add Connection Terminal connection dialog, select Basic Ter- minal from the drop-down menu. When finished, click OK. 2 In the Specify Title and Server dialog, enter a title for your connection. Then enter the name or lP address and the port of a host to connect to. When finished, click Next or Finish. Note: By clicking the Finish button at the end of this step, or any subsequent step, a connection will be created using the default settings for the remaining configuration options. 3 In the Startup Options dialog, you can select whether this connection is to automatically start at startup, and/or automatically restart if it becomes disconnected.
