The In-Use Menu is available when your on a call. Press the Options soft key while on a call to display the following: • Hold: allows you to place a call on hold. • Mute Key Tone: allows you to turn the key tones off or on. If the Mute Key Tone option is selected, your phone does not transmit the DTMF tone of the keys, which allows you to press keys without hearing annoying key tones during a call. • New Call: allows you to make or accept another call. • Send DTMF: DTMF tones are the tones used in phones for tone dialing.You can send DTMF tones as a group after entering the entire number you need to send or retrieving a number from Contacts. This feature is helpful for entering a password or an account number when you call an automated system, like a banking service. • Address Book: allows you to access the Contact List. • Messaging: allows you to send a SMS message to the caller or the person you called. • Memo: allows you to create a memo. In Use Menu Outline
Your phone includes a standby menu and an In-Use Menu. The In-Use Menu is
available when your on a call. Press the
Options
soft key while on a call to display
the following:
Hold
: allows you to place a call on hold.
Mute Key Tone
: allows you to turn the key tones off or on. If the Mute Key Tone
