Using T9 Mode Entering a Word in T9 Mode 1. When you are in T9 mode, start entering a word by pressing the 2 to 9 keys. Press each key only once for each letter. Example: To enter "Hello", press the 4,3,5,5, and 6 keys.: H E L L O The word you are typing appears in the display. It may change with each key that you press. 2. Enter the whole word before editing or deleting the keystrokes. 3. When the word displays correctly, go to step 4. If the word doesn't display correctly, press the key to display alternative word choices. Continue to press key until the word appears in the display. For example, both "Of" and "Me" use the and keys. The phone displays the most commonly used choice first. If the word doesn't display press the key until the Spell soft key appears in the display. Press the Spell soft and enter the word and press the Add soft key. The word is added to the T9 dictionary and becomes the first word for the associated key press series. 4. Using T9 Mode
Entering a Word in T9 Mode
1.
When you are in T9 mode, start entering a word by pressing the
