4. Select a Memory location, select SIM and press the Select soft key or the key. 5. Enter the following information for your contact: • Name: enter the first and last name of the contact. • Phone Number: enter the phone number of the contact. • SIM Location: enter SIM location number. 6. Press the Save soft key or the key to save contact. Pauses When you call automated systems (like banking services and voice mail) you are often required to enter a password or an account number. Instead of manually entering the numbers each time you can store the numbers in your Address Book along with special characters called pauses. Enter the number you want to store, press and hold the second pause. A "P" appears in the display. key to insert a two- Note: You can enter multiple two-second pauses to extend the length of the pause. For example two consecutive pauses equates to a pause time of four seconds. Dialing a Number from the Address Book Once you have stored phone numbers in the Address Book, you can dial them easily and quickly by using the SIM location number that was assigned when the numbers was entered. 1. In Idle mode, press the Menu ( ) soft key to access Menu mode. 2. Use the Navigation keys to highlight Address Book and press the Select soft key or the key. 3. Using the Up or Down Navigation key highlight Contact List and press the Select soft key or the key. 4. Enter the first few letters of the name that you want to find. The Address Book entries are listed, highlighting the entry that most closely matches your input. 5. Once you have found the entry, press the key to dial the number.
