Configuring DHCP IPv4 Interfaces Using CLI The following is a sample CLI script to configure a dynamic IPv4 address on an interface and then to remove it: Table 9-22. Sample CLI Script to Configure IPv4 Dynamically on a VLAN CLI Command console#config console(config)# interface vlan 1 console(config)# no switchport console(config-if)# ip address dhcp console(config-if)# no ip address dhcp Description Enter Global Configuration mode. Enter VLAN mode for VLAN 1. Enable the port to work as an IP interface (Layer 3 mode). Use the DHCP protocol to acquire the IP address. Remove the address (if required). Table 9-23.
