SNMP Access Control (Groups) For ease of use, users may be assigned to groups. In this way, it is possible to assign feature access rights to an entire group, instead of assigning them individually to users. Users are created in the User Security Model pages. Groups can be defined in any version of SNMP, but only SNMPv3 groups can be assigned authentication methods. To add an SNMP group, and assign it access control privileges: 1 Click System > SNMP > Access Control in the tree view to display the Access Control: Summary page. Figure 9-49.
