If the LED display q is illuminated steadily, press the SET key w so that the LED display q flashes. 2. Press the PATTERN key e. The indicator r will illuminate, and the pattern number currently set will flash on the LED display q. 3. Press the ˚ and ˜ selection keys t to select the pattern number. • The pattern number has three digits, and is set start- ing from the left. • For pattern numbers in the Sewing Pattern Table with a - in them, it is not necessary to use the ˚ and ˜ selection keys t to set these columns. (For example, if setting " Plain zigzag", the pattern number is 2--, so use only the ˚ and ˜ selection keys t at the left of the LED display to set the 2. • If setting scallop or blind stitches, read the descrip- tions of each pattern on page 73. • If no custom-made patterns are available, 9** cannot be selected. 4. Press the SET key w. The selected sewing pattern will be accepted, and the LED display q will stop flashing and illuminate steadily. * When setting another item in addition to the sew- ing pattern, you can press the SET key w after all other settings have been completed to accept all of the settings at once, instead of pressing the key at this point. (Refer to page 66.) w t ˙Einstellen der Stichmuster 1. Drücken Sie die SET-Taste w, falls die LED-Anzeige q leuchtet, so daß die LED-Anzeige q blinkt. 2. Drücken Sie die PATTERN-Taste e. Die Anzeige r leuchtet und die gegenwärtig eingestellte Stichmusternummer blinkt auf der LED-Anzeige q. 3. Stellen Sie die Stichmusternummer mit den Tasten t ˚ und ˜ ein. • Die Stichmusternummer ist dreistellig und die Einstellung beginnt von links. • Für Stichmusternummern, die in der Stichmustertabelle mit - bezeichnet sind, brauchen zum Einstellen dieser Stellen die Tasten t ˚ und ˜ nicht gedrückt zu werden. (Zum Beispiel für "Gerader Zickzackstich" ist die Stichmusternummer 2--, daher brauchen Sie nur mit den linken Tasten t ˚ und ˜ die LED-Anzeige auf 2 einzustellen. • Für Muschel-oder Blindstiche lesen Sie die Beschreibung dieser Muster auf Seite 73. • Falls kein individuelles Stichmuster zur Verfügung steht, kann 9** nicht eingestellt werden. 4. Drücken Sie die SET-Taste w. Das eingestellte Stichmuster wird eingegeben und die LED-Anzeige q hört auf zu blinken und leuchtet ständig. * Falls außer dem Stichmuster eine weitere Einstellung vorgenommen wird, können Sie die SET-Taste w nach Abschluß aller Einstellungen drücken, um alle Einstellungen miteinander einzugeben.
