Chapter 2 Messages and Recovery Procedures ATMSPA Messages OL-11469-02 Error Message %ATMSPA-3-FATAL_ERROR: occurred on [chars]. Resetting SPA Explanation The SPA has been reset because of a critical error in one of its devices. The error could be either a single occurrence of an event or multiple occurrences within a period of time. The message text on the console or in the system log provides more information about the specific nature of the error. Recommended Action If the SPA is reset more than once, copy the message exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log. Research and attempt to resolve the issue using the tools and utilities provided at http://www.cisco.com/tac. With some messages, these tools and utilities will supply clarifying information. Only image version greater than [int].[int] can be used in the update operation of [chars] with HW version greater than [int].[int]. Explanation The version of the field-programmable device (FPD) image from the FPD image bundle or package is not compatible with the hardware version of the target card.
