Table 9-5. IP Interface Configuration Commands CLI Command routing encapsulation ip address ip mtu ip netdirbcast show ip interface Description Enables IPv4 and IPv6 routing for an interface. Configures the link layer encapsulation type for the packet. Configures an IP address on an interface. Sets the IP Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) on a routing interface.
