The NAS Type list may be used to select a default type for network access servers. Use this option if you have a deployment that uses only one type of NAS. The AAA Debug option on the RADIUS Server Configuration page enables additional debugging messages logged during the handling of RADIUS packets. The default setting is "No debugging." This option might be of use when setting up or troubleshooting advanced authorization methods, and you can refer to the application log to view the AAA debug messages. However, for performance reasons, this option should be disabled in a production environment. If you do enable it for troubleshooting, remember to disable it when you are through. Logging interim accounting updates is optional, and is disabled by default. You can use the check box in the Interim Accounting row to enable or disable logging of RADIUS interim accounting updates. The Internal Auth Type option lets the administrator specify the authentication method to use for internally-generated RADIUS requests, such as Web login page authentication or device provisioning requests. You can select PAP, CHAP, or MSCHAP. The Server Options field is a text field that accepts multiple name = value pairs. You can also add comments by entering lines starting with a # character.
