When the administrator password is set during the setup wizard, the root password for the system will also be set to this password. However, once you have set the initial root password, future changes to the administrator password will not change the appliance's root password. The username to access the console user interface is always admin and cannot be changed. Console User Interface Functions When you log in to the console user interface, the following menu options are presented.  To make a selection, type its corresponding number. Table 9 Console user interface functions # Option Description 1 Change network settings Allows for interactive configuration of the appliance's network settings. 2 Restart services Restarts major system services. 3 Reinitialize database Destroys the entire configuration of the appliance and resets to the factory default state.
