FLIGHT MANAGEMENT NDBS The NDB Information Page is used to view information about NDBs. In addition to displaying a map of the currently selected NDB and surrounding area, the page displays NDB information in four boxes labeled 'NDB', 'INFORMATION', 'FREQUENCY', and 'NEAREST AIRPORT'. Navigation Map Showing Selected NDB Selected NDB NDB Identifier/Type - Facility Name - Nearest City NDB Information - Type - Region - Lat/Long NDB Frequency Nearest Airport Info - Identifier/Type (symbol) - Bearing/Distance to Airport Figure 5-40 NDB Information Page NOTE: Compass locator (LOM, LMM): a low power, low or medium frequency radio beacon installed in conjunction with the instrument landing system. When LOM is used, the locator is at the Outer Marker; when LMM is used, the locator is at the Middle Marker. Selecting an NDB: 1) With the NDB Information Page displayed, enter an identifier, the name of the NDB, or the city in which it's located in the NDB Box. 2) Press the ENT Key. 3) Press the FMS Knob to remove the flashing cursor. Or: 1) With the Nearest NDB Page displayed, press the FMS Knob. 2) Press the ENT Key or turn either FMS Knob to select an identifier in the Nearest NDB Box. 3) Press the FMS Knob to remove the flashing cursor. 174 Garmin G1000H™ Pilot's Guide for the Bell 407GX 190-01255-00 Rev.
