CAUTION: In an IRF fabric, use the undo startup saved-configuration command with caution. This command can cause an IRF split after the IRF fabric or an IRF member reboots. If neither backup nor main is specified, the startup saved-configuration command specifies the main next-startup configuration file. Even though the main and backup next-startup configuration files can be the same one, specify them as separate files for high availability. Do not save the configuration file on a USB disk. During the device boot process, the device cannot read configuration file from the USB disk. The undo startup saved-configuration command changes the file attribute of the main and backup next-startup configuration files to NULL, but it does not delete the two configuration files. You can also specify a configuration file as a next startup file when you use the save command to save the running configuration to it.
