Usage guidelines You can perform this operation only after you log in to the FTP server. The directory that can be accessed must be authorized by the FTP server. Examples # Change the working directory to the subdirectory logfile of the current directory. ftp> cd /folder 250 OK. Current directory is /folder # Change the working directory to the subdirectory diagfile of the FTP root directory. ftp> cd /diagfile 250 OK.
