System Software Manager System Software Manager (SSM) is a utility available on Windows computers that enables you to update system-level software on multiple systems simultaneously. When executed on a PC client system, SSM detects hardware and software versions and then updates the software from a central repository, known as a file store. Driver versions supported by SSM are noted with a special icon on the software, the driver download Web site, and on the Support Software CD. To download the utility or to obtain more information about SSM, see http://www.hp.com/go/ssm. Proactive Change Notification The Proactive Change Notification application uses the Subscriber's Choice Web site to: ● Send Proactive Change Notification (PCN) e-mail informing you up to 60 days in advance of hardware and software changes to most commercial computers and servers ● Send you e-mail containing customer bulletins, customer advisories, customer notes, and driver alerts for most commercial computers and servers You can create a profile to ensure you receive only the information relevant to the specific IT environment. Subscriber's Choice Subscriber's Choice is a client-based service from HP that supplies you with personalized product tips, feature articles, and driver and support alerts and notifications based on the profile.
