FS700TS Smart Switch Software Administration Manual The Static Addresses screen contains the following fields: • VLAN ID - Select the VLAN ID number to which the entry refers. • MAC Address - Enter the MAC address to which the entry refers. • Interface - Enter the interface to which the entry refers. • Status - Select the MAC Address duration period within the table. The possible field values are: - Permanent - The MAC address is permanent. - Delete on Reset - The MAC address is deleted when the device is reset. - Delete on Timeout - The MAC address is deleted when the Address Aging Interval expires. - Secure - The MAC Address is defined for locked interfaces. 2. Select the address table entry. 3. Enter the MAC Address and Interface in the provided fields in the first row. 4. Select the MAC Address duration period Status from the list in the provided field in the first row. 5. Click APPLY to update the device. Dynamic Addresses The Dynamic Addresses screen contains information about the aging time before a dynamic MAC address is erased. To configure the Dynamic MAC Address table: 1.
