FS700TS Smart Switch Software Administration Manual MAC Rules The MAC Rules screen allows a MAC Rule to be defined within a configured ACL. Rules can be added only if the ACL is not bound to an interface. To define MAC Rules: 1. Click Security > ACL > MAC Rules. The MAC Rules screen displays: Figure 6-11 The MAC Rules screen contains the following fields: MAC ACL • ACL Name - Select the ACL Name from the list. Rule Table • MAC Address Dest. - Enter the destination MAC Address. • Action - Select the action applied to packets with MAC addresses that have been filtered. The possible field values are: - Deny - Deny access to packets originating from the blocked MAC address. 2. Select the ACL Name from the list in the provided field. 3. Select the rule entry. 4. Enter the provided fields in the first row. 5. Click APPLY to update the device. To add a MAC rule: 1. Click Security > ACL > MAC Rules. The MAC Rules screen displays. 2. MAC Rules
The MAC Rules screen allows a MAC Rule to be defined within a configured ACL. Rules can be
added only if the ACL is not bound to an interface.

o define MAC Rules:
1.
Click
Security > ACL > MAC Rules
. The MAC Rules screen displays:
The MAC Rules screen contains the following fields:
MAC ACL
ACL Name
– Select the ACL Name from the list.
Rule Table
MAC Address Dest.
– Enter the destination MAC Address.
Action
– Select the action applied to packets with MAC addresses that have been filtered.
The possible field values are:
