FS700TS Smart Switch Software Administration Manual To define SNMPv3 communities: 1. Click System > SNMP > SNMPv3 > Community Configuration. The SNMPv3 Community Configuration screen displays: Figure 3-17 The SNMPv3 Community Configuration screen contains the following fields: • Management Station - Enter the management station IP address for which the basic SNMP community is defined. • Community String - Enter the password used to authenticate the management station to the device. • Group Name - Select the SNMP group from a list of SNMP groups defined in the SNMP Group Configuration screen. 2. Select the SNMP community entry. 3. Enter the Management Station and Community String in the provided fields. 4. Select the Group Name from the list. 5. Click APPLY to update the device. To add a new SNMPv3 community: 1. Click System > SNMP > SNMPv3 > Community Configuration. The SNMPv3 Community Configuration screen displays. 2. Enter the Management Station and Community String in the provided fields in the first row. 3. Select the Group Name from the list in the provided field in the first row. 4. To define SNMPv3 communities:
1.
Click
System > SNMP > SNMPv3

Community Configuration
. The SNMPv3 Community
Configuration screen displays:
The SNMPv3 Community Configuration screen contains the following fields:
Management Station
