Setting up and Playing Power supply Setting up and Playing Power supply Power supply connections Before you connect the power adapter, make sure that the MO [STANDBY/ON] switch is set to STANDBY (Off). 1 Connect the plug of the power adapter PA-5D to the DC IN terminal on the rear panel of the MO. 2 Plug in the AC cable to an appropriate AC outlet. Rear panel STANDBY ON DC IN 1 Power adapter PA-5D 2 To electrical outlet n Follow this procedure in reverse order to disconnect the power adapter. AC cable WARNING • Be sure to use the included adapter. Using an AC adapter other than the PA-5D may cause damage to the MO, and may even pose a serious electrical shock hazard. • Connect the adapter to an AC outlet of the specified voltage. CAUTION Even when the [STANDBY/ON] switch is in the STANDBY position, a small amount of electricity is still flowing to the unit. When you do not plan to use the MO for an extended period of time, be sure to unplug the AC power adapter from the AC outlet. Connecting the speakers or pair of headphones Since the MO has no built-in speakers, you will need to monitor the sound of the instrument by using external equipment.
