Configuring NPA device communication Though the default port is usually used for NPA device communication, the time-out periods between retries can be changed to improve reliability during device discovery. 1 On the Services tab, select NPA from the Services list. 2 Select Parameters from the Tasks list. 3 Type a time-out period in milliseconds for each retry in sequence, separating each by a space, in the NPANT Timeout field. 4 Type the port number used for NPA on your network in the Unsecure port field.
