Configuring your Workstation with the HP Setup Program Starting the HP Setup Program The Setup program lets you configure your workstation. You can: • Set up the system administrator and user passwords • Change the system boot order • Solve configuration problems HP recommends you note any changes you make to the system setup for later reference. To start the Setup program: 1. Start your workstation. If your workstation is already up, shut it down and restart. 2. Press while is displayed at the bottom of the screen. If you fail to press in time and the start-up process continues, you must allow your system to finish booting up, then restart your workstation and go through the Power-On-Self-Test (POST) again. Starting the HP Setup Program
The Setup program lets you configure your workstation. You can:
Set up the system administrator and user passwords
Change the system boot order
Solve configuration problems
HP recommends you note any changes you make to the system setup for later reference.
To start the Setup program:
1. Start your workstation. If your workstation is already up, shut it down and restart.
