Introduction Chapter 01 Introduction "External storage device (USB, SD)" The SD memory card, SDHC memory card, microSD card, microSDHC card and USB memory device are collectively referred to as the "external storage device (USB, SD)". If it indicates the USB memory only, it is referred to as the "USB storage device". "SD memory card" The SD memory card, SDHC memory card, microSD card and microSDHC card are collectively referred to as the "SD memory card". "iPod" In this manual, iPod and iPhone will be referred to as "iPod". The microprocessor must be reset under the following conditions: ! Prior to using this product for the first time after installation. ! If this product fails to operate properly. ! If there appears to be problems with the op- eration of the system. ! If your vehicle position is shown on the map with a significant positioning error. 1 Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2 Press the RESET button with a pen tip or other pointed implement. The SD memory card, SDHC memory card,
microSD card, microSDHC card and USB
memory device are collectively referred to as
the
external storage device (USB, SD)
. If it in-
dicates the USB memory only, it is referred to

Notes on internal memory
Before removing the vehicle
battery
If the battery is disconnected or discharged,
the memory will be erased and must be repro-
grammed.

Some of the settings and recorded con-
tents will not be reset.

The information is erased by disconnecting
the yellow lead from the battery (or removing
the battery itself).

Resetting the microprocessor
CAUTION
