Connecting the Printer to Your Computer 1 Your printer has two separate interface connections: a Centronics® compatible parallel interface and an RS-232C- compatible serial interface. If you are not sure which one is required by your computer, check your computer manual. Note: Your printer has an auto interface mode function that allows you to connect to more than one interface at a time. Connecting the Printer to Your Computer
Your printer has two separate interface connections:

required by your computer, check your computer manual.
Note:
Your printer has an auto interface mode function that allows you
