You'll find instructions in this chapter for the following: s Running a cleaning cycle s Replacing ink cartridges s Aligning the print head s Cleaning the EPSON Stylus Scan s Transporting the EPSON Stylus Scan Running a Cleaning Cycle If your printouts are light or have gaps in the image, you may need to run a cleaning cycle. This unclogs the print head nozzles so they can deliver ink properly. The cleaning process uses ink, so you should run it only if you're not getting good print quality.
