2. If the first print line is not where you want it to be, press Micro ↑, Micro ↓, or Line Feed until it reaches the desired line. Note: If you need to adjust the paper downward, adjust at least five steps beyond where you want the top of form position; then make your final adjustment in the up direction. You can also use the Top of Form Alignment Test (see "Top of Form Alignment" on page 5-4) to print a line of characters to determine more accurately where you have set the top of form position. 3. When the form is in the correct position, press Set Top of Form. The alarm beeps and the printer displays TOP OF FORM SET 4. Advance the form by pressing Form Feed, and decide if the form is on the desired line. If necessary, repeat Steps 1 through 4 of this procedure until the top of form position is correctly aligned. 5. If you plan to use the Document on Demand feature, see "Adjusting the Tear-off Position" on page 1-79.
