Positioning Forms When you design the forms layout for your 4230 Printer, keep the | physical dimensions and forms quality in mind. See Figure C-1 on | page C-10, Figure C-2 on page C-11, Figure C-3 on page C-12, | and Figure C-4 on page C-13 and the following information to obtain best results when printing. A Form Width Maximum: 381 mm (15 in.) for F1, F2, or F3 356 mm (14 in.) for F4 Minimum: 76.2 mm (3 in.) for F1, F2, or F3 127 mm (4 in.) for F4 B Form Length Maximum: 356 mm (14 in.) Minimum: 76.2 mm (3 in.) for F1 and F2 Minimum: 177.8 mm (7 in.) for F3 Minimum: 127 mm (5 in.) for F4 (Bin 1) Minimum: 203 mm (8 in.) for F4 (Bin 2) Minimum: 279 mm (11 in.) for F4 (Bin 3) Minimum: 127 mm (5 in.) for F4 (Bin 4) C First Print Position For continuous forms: The minimum distance between the center of the margin holes | and the start of the first print position used is 1.27 mm (0.05 in.). The maximum distance between the center of the margin holes and the start of the first print position used is 48.5 mm (1.91 in.). For cut forms: The minimum distance between the left edge of the form and the | start of the first print position used is 1.27 mm (0.05 in.).
