General information 71 3. General information This chapter explains how the communicator operates and how to supply power to the communicator. For information on first start-up and setup of your communicator, see the Getting Started chapter in this user guide. The application that was active the last time the communicator was used is shown on the display. When you close the cover, the communicator interface turns off its display and saves all data. The commands always correspond to the command buttons, as shown in Figure 17. Tip: When a command is dimmed, it cannot be used.
