Chapter 4 Designer Design Window Shared Settings and Operations Preferences You can set the operating environment for the Designer window in the "Preferences" dialog box. This dialog box is opened using the [Preferences] command in the Designer window [Tools] menu.  Graphics Ports & Wires Specifies wire color, thickness, and type for each port type. • [Color] Sets the default color for the port and wire. • [Width] Sets the default wire width from a range of 1 to 5. • [Type] Sets the port type. NOTE The initial color and thickness of the wires produced when drawing connections are specified here.
