Chapter 6 Component Guide Notch Filter (Notch) The notch filter attenuates the signal within a specified frequency band, while passing frequencies outside that band. There are two types of notch filter components: mono channel and stereo channel. Mono channel notch filters have one input and one output. Stereo channel notch filters have two of each. Double-click a component to display the component editor for it. The parameters are the same for mono channel and stereo channel components. Notch component editor Section Input Notch Output Parameter Level Phase Frequency Q: Bypass Level Setting Range -∞ to +10 dB ON/OFF 20 Hz to 20 kHz 0.1 to 63.0 ON/OFF -∞ to ±0 dB Function Sets the input signal level. Reverses the phase of the input signal. Sets the center frequency. Sets the band width of the frequency band that will be changed Turns bypass ON. Sets the output signal level.
