 Knob Chapter 5 Components Drag to adjust the parameter. You can change the way knobs operate, using the [Component Editor] tab  [Knob Mode] setting in the "Preferences" dialog box. "Preferences" dialog box  "Component Editor" tab (page 73) NOTE To make a finer setting, press the key while dragging the knob when [Knob Mode] is "Linear". If you click a knob while pressing the key, the setting will return to its default value.  Slider Slider Scale You can change the parameter by dragging the slider. You can set the action that results from using the mouse on the scale area with [Component Editor] tab  [Slider Mode] in the "Preferences" dialog box.
