Using a Port Replicator Detaching Your Computer from the Port Replicator Important Remove all security system locks from the port replicator before you detach the computer. 1 For Windows 95: Press Fn+F4 and close the LCD, or turn off the computer and close the LCD. You can detach the computer from the port replicator while the computer is in suspend mode or when the computer power is turned off. For other operating systems: Turn off the computer and close the LCD. You can detach the computer from the port replicator only when the computer power is turned off. 2 Disconnect the AC Adapter from the wall outlet and from the port replicator. 3 Make sure the power-on indicator on the port replicator is off. Detaching Your Computer from the Port Replicator
Important
Remove all security system locks from the port replicator
before you detach the computer.

For Windows 95:
Press
Fn+F4
and close the LCD, or turn off the
computer and close the LCD.
You can detach the
computer from the port replicator
while the computer is
in suspend mode
or
when the computer power is
turned off.
For other operating systems:
Turn off the computer and close the LCD.
You can
detach the computer from the port replicator only
when
the computer power is turned off.
