Keep in mind the following to maintain reliability: Hold the CD by the edges. Do not touch the surface of the CD. To remove dust or fingerprints, wipe the CD from the center to the outside of the disc. Wiping the CD in a circular direction can cause loss of data. Do not write on the surface.
