Using an External Pointing Device You can connect an external keyboard to your computer through the keyboard/mouse cable (available separately as an option). It will not work if it is connected directly to the computer. When the external keyboard is attached, the following are not available: The numeric keypad on the computer keyboard The external numeric keypad Instead, use the numeric keypad on the external keyboard. Using an External Pointing Device
