3 Insert the paper along the guides as far as it will go. Chapter 2 How to Load Paper 3 Open the flap of the envelope and set it with the copy side facing upward. With the flap facing the outside, insert the envelope into the slot along the insert guides as far as it will go. IMPORTANT When loading paper into the MP tray, make sure that the print side is facing upward. (The print side is the side facing upward when the package is opened.) If the leading edge of the paper is curled, straighten it out before loading the paper in the MP tray. 1.3 Setting Envelopes When using the optional printer function, envelopes can be set in the MP tray. 1 Open the MP tray. NOTE Incorrectly loading envelopes can result in printing in the wrong orientation or on the wrong side. 2 Align the insert guides with the envelope size. 2-3
